New Hope entered their tilt with West Point on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the West Point Green Wave 8-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 last Tuesday.

New Hope's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for West Point, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Coming up, New Hope will take on Anderson County in a tournament on Wednesday. As for West Point, they will face off against Independence at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
