Softball Game Preview: L.W. Higgins Hurricanes vs. Riverdale Rebels

The L.W. Higgins Hurricanes will take on the Riverdale Rebels at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. L.W. Higgins is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between L.W. Higgins and Fisher, and Fisher kept the tradition alive. L.W. Higgins lost 18-3 to Fisher on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Riverdale was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against East Jefferson, falling 17-2.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for L.W. Higgins, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

L.W. Higgins took their victory against Riverdale when the teams last played back in March of 2019 by a conclusive 13-7. Will L.W. Higgins repeat their success, or does Riverdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
