Fleming Island's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 49-40 victory over the Raines Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Fleming Island was led to victory by Gianna Crawford and Seven Gourdet. Crawford dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 boards, while Gourdet dropped a double-double with 12 points and 18 rebounds. The matchup was Crawford's third in a row with at least 16 points. Micah Bussey also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Fleming Island's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Raines, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
