On Saturday Dixie's undefeated season almost came to an end. They skirted past the Springville Red Devils 8-6. The Flyers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Devils, too.
Beckham Webb got the start for Dixie and what a start it was: he tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Hudson Wright, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Crew Pryor, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Dixie lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2025.
