Baseball Recap: Oak Hall Takes a Loss

Oak Hall's last matchup with Chiefland could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Indians, falling 12-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-5 back in February.

Graham Rosenstone and Lincoln Jones did some serious damage despite the final result: Rosenstone scored a run while going 2-for-2, while Jones scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Oak Hall is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8. As for Chiefland, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Oak Hall didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-5 victory against Seven Rivers Christian on the 7th. As for Chiefland, they will head out on the road to face off against Dixie County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
