If Logan wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sherman, they should've done a better job of containing Emma Russell. The Tide came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Russell, who had eight digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season.

In the three sets Sherman was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 12-25, 25-11, 25-13.

Sherman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Audrina Smith, who had 14 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Smith has posted over her last four matchups. Another player making a difference was Peyton Foster, who had 11 digs and two assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Sherman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Sherman's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Logan, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-12-1.

Coming up, Sherman will venture away from home to challenge Tug Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Logan, they will face off against River View at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
