Softball Game Preview: South Lenoir Blue Devils vs. Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs

The South Lenoir Blue Devils will square off against the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Wallace-Rose Hill will be up against a hot South Lenoir team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. South Lenoir never let North Lenoir get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Friday.

Meanwhile, Wallace-Rose Hill came up short against Heide Trask on Thursday and fell 5-1. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

South Lenoir's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
