Recap: Arabia Mountain vs. Southwest DeKalb
On Saturday, Arabia Mountain wasn't able to make up for their 20-19 loss to Southwest DeKalb when they last met October of last year. Arabia Mountain suffered a grim 34-7 defeat to Southwest DeKalb. The result was totally at odds with the teams' rankings as Arabia Mountain enjoys a hefty spot advantage.
Arabia Mountain's overall record now falls to 2-7. The win (their fifth in a row) raised Southwest DeKalb's record to 8-2.
Arabia Mountain will square off against Lithonia at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat. The Panthers have the luxury of staying at home another week and will welcome Columbia at 7:30 p.m. ET. Southwest DeKalb has seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Columbia is surely hoping to exploit.
