Volleyball Recap: Polk County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Polk County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the McMinn Central Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17.

Polk County's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for McMinn Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Polk County has already played their next game (against Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for McMinn Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Chattanooga Central on the 23rd.
