The Riverdale Baptist Crusaders had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Rosedale Christian Academy 63-41. Given Riverdale Baptist's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Rosedale Christian Academy is ranked 172nd), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Riverdale Baptist got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nathaniel Wooden out in front who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Giovonni Sanford, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Riverdale Baptist's win bumped their record up to 19-13. As for Rosedale Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Riverdale Baptist won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Virginia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
