Recap: Erie Tigers vs. Boulder Panthers
The Erie Tigers lost to the Boulder Panthers back in February of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Erie came out on top against Boulder by a score of 50-41.
Erie's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Callen Gebhardt, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brayden Haan, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Despite the loss, Boulder had strong showings from Cole Morrow, who scored 27 points along with three steals, and Kyle Blauch, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Morrow continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.
Erie's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-9. As for Boulder, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
Erie will be playing at home against Monarch at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Monarch has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 638 points over their last nine contests. Boulder will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Prairie View at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Prairie View is on a four-game streak of home losses, Boulder a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
