Softball Recap: Kealakehe Waveriders vs. Waiakea Warriors
After a string of 12 wins, Kealakehe's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 23-3 to the Waiakea Warriors. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Kealakehe has scored all season.
Freeda Tosie made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.
Having lost for the first time this season, Kealakehe fell to 12-1. As for Waiakea, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
As of now, neither Kealakehe nor Waiakea have any future games scheduled.
