Basketball Recap: Ashland Takes a Loss

If Ashland was feeling good fresh off their 51-31 takedown of Churchill last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ashland Grizzlies took a blow against the Crater Comets on Tuesday, falling 98-15. The match marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ashland dropped their record down to 5-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Crater, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Ashland will look to defend their home court on Friday against North Eugene at 5:30 p.m. As for Crater, they will square off against Thurston at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Crater's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
