Basketball Game Preview: KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors vs. Westlake Lions

The KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors will take on the Westlake Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past North Atlanta with points to spare, taking the game 64-49.

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Galen Roberts, who went 7-for-16 on his way to 19 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of King Jones, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, Westlake didn't have too much trouble with Morrow on Friday as they won 71-55. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
