Basketball Recap: Sho-Ban Chiefs vs. Watersprings
Sho-Ban lost against Watersprings back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sho-Ban Chiefs came up short against Watersprings, falling 65-40. Watersprings got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Korban Nelson out in front who went 6 for 13 on his way to 17 points along with six rebounds and six steals. That's the most steals Nelson has posted since back in December of 2023. Titus Driver was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 22 boards.
Sho-Ban now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Watersprings, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
Sho-Ban has already played their next game, a 59-49 win against North Gem on the 18th. As for Watersprings, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 65-37 victory against Leadore on the 18th.
