Volleyball Recap: California Lutheran C-Hawks vs. JW North Huskies
California Lutheran and JW North squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but California Lutheran had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Huskies. The C-Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-14.
California Lutheran's offense was headlined by Cailin Schroeder and Sofiia Klochkova, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Neleh Boehm and her three assists. Maddie Buchberger controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Athena Lee was a one-woman wrecking crew For JW North. as she had 17 digs and seven aces. Lee is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last ten games she's played.
California Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for JW North, they pushed their record up to 15-16 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
