Ayersville had lost four games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 7-4 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Edgerton Bulldogs as they made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Pilots have won four games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kendra Waldron was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March of 2024.
