Basketball Game Preview: Maplewood Tigers vs. Cambridge Springs Devils

Maplewood is 1-9 against Cambridge Springs since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Maplewood Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Cambridge Springs Devils at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Maplewood is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 57-41 to Cochranton.

Meanwhile, Cambridge Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 78-44 loss at the hands of Rocky Grove. The Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-20.

Cambridge Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Maplewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Maplewood was able to grind out a solid win over Cambridge Springs in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 44-36. Will Maplewood repeat their success, or does Cambridge Springs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
