Basketball Recap: Tahlequah Comes Up Short

Tahlequah was the 59-45 winner over Memorial when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 37-27 to the Chargers on Tuesday. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Tahlequah is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Memorial, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Tahlequah will take on Stilwell in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.29 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Memorial and Claremore will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Chargers' defense better be ready for this one: the Zebras have averaged an impressive 55.8 points per game this season.
