It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but New Designs University Park had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 64-29 victory over the TEACH Tech Charter Rams. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season.

Leading New Designs University Park to victory were Daviandre Davis and Nicholas Hambrick. Davis posted 26 points and seven steals, while Hambrick put up 16 points and seven steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least a third of New Designs University Park's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gael Mejia, who earned seven points in addition to 20 boards and five assists.

The win was the eighth in a row for New Designs University Park, bringing their record for this year to 20-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points over those games. As for TEACH Tech Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cardinals take on the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. TEACH Tech Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
