Basketball Recap: Nyack Falls Short of Rye in the Playoffs

Nyack and Rye squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Nyack had to settle for second. The game between the Nyack Red Hawks and the Rye Garnets didn't end well, with the Nyack Red Hawks falling 62-46. The Red Hawks haven't had much luck with the Garnets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Nyack's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Rye, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Nyack does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rye, they will take on Yorktown on Tuesday. Yorktown will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Rye surely won't give up without a fight.
