Basketball Recap: St. Thomas Academy Takes a Loss

St. Thomas Academy suffered their biggest loss since December 14, 2024 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 77-50 loss at the hands of the Tartan Titans. While losing is never fun, the Cadets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Titans are ranked 14th).

St. Thomas Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8. As for Tartan, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

St. Thomas Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-56 win against South St. Paul on the 4th. As for Tartan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 90-54 victory against Minneapolis Southwest on the 1st.
