Carson's dynamic duo of Kiki Flores and Kelvin Sadberry proved tough for Centennial to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Flores threw for 174 yards and 3 touchdowns and Sadberry had 88 yards receiving. Jabari Minix helped Carson's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 53 yards.
Ortiz provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Banning defeated Rancho Dominguez Prep. Ortiz's favorite target this week was Joe Gama, who caught 9 passes for 75 yards.
Ortiz was a beast in the backfield as John Aponte's team bested Wayne Crawford's team.
He went 12-23 with 1 interception.
