Cascade fought the good fight in their overtime game against Council on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Council Lumberjacks by a score of 53-50. The Ramblers' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Cascade's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6. As for Council, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade will challenge Salmon River at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cascade is facing Salmon River at the right time seeing as Salmon River is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Council, they will square off against Notus at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Notus is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.8 points per game this season.
