Glastonbury is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They snuck past McMahon with a 46-42 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Guardians as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Mercy on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Bridgeport Central out of the water with a 70-30 final score. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Mercy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points over those games. Glastonbury's win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Glastonbury beat Mercy 57-44 in their previous meeting back in March of 2020. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glastonbury since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
