Volleyball Recap: North Stokes Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Stokes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chatham Central Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Chatham Central scored at least ten points in every set. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-22, 25-17, 20-25, 15-10.

North Stokes' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Chatham Central, they pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Stokes is set to challenge their familiar foe Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chatham Central will square off against rival Bishop McGuinness at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
