Soccer Game Preview: Newton vs. Eisenhower

Newton hasn't had much luck against Eisenhower recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Railroaders will host the Tigers at 6:30 p.m.

Newton is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Andover.

Meanwhile, Eisenhower put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Goddard as they made off with a 9-1 win. Eisenhower might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

Eisenhower's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Newton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1.
