The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Jays as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Rock Port found their leader in underclassman Brock Holmes, who rushed for 200 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Corbyn Jakub was in the mix too, providing Rock Port with two rushing touchdowns touchdowns.

Rock Port suffered a grim 52-32 defeat to Stanberry in their previous meeting back in September of 2023. Thankfully for Rock Port, Tucker Schieber (who rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 34 receiving yards) won't be suiting up this time.
