Preview: Easton Warriors vs. Kent County Trojans
Easton is 10-0 against Kent County since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Easton Warriors will be playing at home against the Kent County Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Easton was able to grind out a solid victory over Cambridge-South Dorchester, taking the game 41-33.
In what's become a running theme this season, Kent County gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They blew past North Dorchester 38-18. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Kent County has posted against North Dorchester since January 16, 2020.
Kent County can attribute much of their success to Zoe Angenieux, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Angenieux has scored at least a third of Kent County's points. Kate Cannon was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Easton's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Kent County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
Easton beat Kent County 40-31 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Does Easton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kent County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
