Game recap: San Juan high school football team's streak continues with win over Enterprise

San Juan (Blanding, Utah) extended its winning streak to nine games with a 48-0 victory over Enterprise (Utah) on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Barkley Christensen touchdown pass to Ammon Mitchell in the first quarter, the Broncos led 26-0 at the half.

San Juan expanded its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. SJ scored three times in the third, including once on a safety.

The Blanding school's most effective player was Christensen. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.

The Broncos came into the game allowing 4.1 points per game. The Wolves' zero points were well below their season average of 12.1 per game.



Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 27-7 win for San Juan.

SJ (9-0) faces off against Kirtland Central in a non-conference game its next time out. The Broncos will bring a record of 2-4 into the meeting.
