Volleyball Game Preview: St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions vs. Bullis Bulldogs

The St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions will challenge the Bullis Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for St. Andrew's Episcopal and nine for Bullis.

It was a proper cat-fight when St. Andrew's Episcopal duked it out with Potomac School on Tuesday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

St. Andrew's Episcopal started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-20, 25-20, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Bullis didn't have quite enough to beat Episcopal on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Bullis sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-8, 28-30, 15-12.

Despite the defeat, Bullis saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jackie Leach had 13 digs.

Bullis' loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
