Menomonee Falls has gone a perfect 7-0 against Slinger recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Phoenix will face off against the Owls. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Menomonee Falls is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past Neenah 3-2. The Phoenix haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Menomonee Falls took Neenah into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-11, 23-25, 24-26, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Slinger had just enough and edged out Fond du Lac 3-2 on Saturday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Slinger who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 21-25, 25-16, 23-25, 15-13.

Slinger's win bumped their record up to 22-13. As for Menomonee Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 32-9.

Menomonee Falls beat Slinger 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Phoenix repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
