Collegiate took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They snuck past Legacy Academy with a 63-58 win.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Collegiate to victory, but perhaps none more so than Danny Mooney, who went 7 for 11 en route to 19 points. The dominant performance gave Mooney a new career-high in points. Owen Odom was another key player, putting up 17 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fork Union Military Academy). They secured a 64-58 W over Tandem Friends on Monday.

Collegiate is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 37.7% in those games and 29.7% outside of them. As for Fork Union Military Academy, their victory ended a 15-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-19.
