Scottsburg is a perfect 9-0 against Clarksville since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will host the Generals at 5:30 p.m. Scottsburg comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Scottsburg's offense. They lost 22-0 to Corydon Central on Wednesday.

Scottsburg saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelsey Pinto- Herrera, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Clarksville ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Austin 5-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Generals.

Aaliyah Watts spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits and racked up 12 Ks. Those 12 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Bailey Senior, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.

Clarksville's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Scottsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Scottsburg was able to grind out a solid win over Clarksville in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 8-4. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
