Soccer Recap: Wakefield Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Wakefield was not quite Herndon's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 1-0. Wakefield were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Herndon earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Wakefield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-3. As for Herndon, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Wakefield nor Herndon have any future games scheduled.
