Soccer Recap: Waccamaw Extends Winning Streak to Four

It's playoff time, and Waccamaw had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their defense stepped up to hand the Hanahan Hawks a 6-0 shutout on Tuesday. Waccamaw might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Hanahan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lilian Stratton (4), Halina Gregory, and Lindsay Latimer.

The victory (which was Waccamaw's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Hanahan, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-8.

As of now, neither Waccamaw nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
