Basketball Recap: Wenonah Skates Past Fultondale with Ease

Wenonah lost to Fultondale back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Wenonah Dragons simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Fultondale Wildcats 80-52. The score was all tied up 32-32 at the break, but the Dragons were the (much) better team in the second half.

Wenonah's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.5 points per game. As for Fultondale, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wenonah will welcome John Carroll Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fultondale, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Jasper at 7:00 p.m.
