Football Game Preview: Memorial Warriors vs. Liberty Redhawks

Memorial hasn't had much luck against Liberty recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. Memorial has given up an average of 41.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Two weeks ago, Memorial ended up a good deal behind Denison and lost 41-23.

Landon Diehl put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 121 receiving yards and one TD. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 53 yards.

Meanwhile, Liberty played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Denison 47-17.

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Memorial suffered a grim 28-7 defeat to Liberty in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
