Softball Recap: Kittatinny Regional Gets the Win

Kittatinny Regional took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against High Point, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 7-6 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted against the Wildcats since April 2, 2022.

Kittatinny Regional is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for High Point, they dropped their record down to 7-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
