Baseball Game Preview: Dudley Panthers vs. Atkins Camels

The Dudley Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Atkins Camels at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Wednesday, Dudley came up short against Page and fell 22-18.

Antonio Lee Jr. was cooking despite his team's loss, going 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Donovan Locklear was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-5.

Even though they lost, Dudley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Page only posted a batting average of .240.

Meanwhile, Atkins came up short against Mount Tabor on Wednesday, falling 13-3.

Atkins' defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs over those games. As for Dudley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
