Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Henderson). They breezed by the North Henderson Knights to the tune of 62-25 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Leading East Henderson to victory were Mamie Hill and Kayden Henderson. Hill went 8 of 13 en route to 23 points along with six boards and five assists, while Henderson dropped a double-double on 26 points and 15 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Hill a new career-high in assists. Leila Henderson also deserves some recognition as she pulled down her first board of the season.

East Henderson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

East Henderson pushed their record up to 9-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points per game. As for North Henderson, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

East Henderson will face off against Pisgah at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pisgah will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something East Henderson surely won't give up without a fight. North Henderson has already played their next contest (against Smoky Mountain), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
