Softball Recap: North Ridgeville's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

North Ridgeville and Riverside squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but North Ridgeville had to settle for second. They lost 11-3 to the Beavers. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Rangers, who until this contest were averaging 3.62 runs allowed.

Kailee Pasenow made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

The loss snapped North Ridgeville's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 21-5 record. As for Riverside, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-4.

North Ridgeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverside, they will face off against Perry at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Beavers surely won't give up without a fight.
