Baseball Recap: Bloomfield Christian School Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Bloomfield Christian School proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 12) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Faith Baptist Eagle. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-1 on Monday.

Bloomfield Christian School saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charles Busch, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. That's the most stolen bases Busch has posted since back in April of 2024.

Bloomfield Christian School pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Faith Baptist, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomfield Christian School will head out to face off against Novi Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Faith Baptist, they will venture away from home to take on Faith Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Eagle's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
