Basketball Recap: University Takes a Loss

If University was riding high fresh off their 63-23 takedown of Shadle Park last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The University Titans fell 54-44 to the Mead Panthers on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-52 back in December of 2024.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Mead, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University has already played their next matchup (against Mt. Spokane), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mead will challenge Ridgeline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgeline will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Mead surely won't give up without a fight.
