New Creation Christian Academy won the last time they faced Creekside Christian Academy and Nevaeh Barry did her part to make sure it happened again. The Crusaders walked away with a 39-31 win over the Cougars on Monday with plenty of help from Barry, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 20 rebounds. Barry is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Creekside Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ashley Yefremov posted eight points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Milan Shy was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds.

The victory got New Creation Christian Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Creekside Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. New Creation Christian Academy will take on Konos Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Condor have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Creekside Christian Academy, they will face off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th.
