Soccer Game Preview: Friendswood vs. Angleton

Friendswood is 0-4 against Angleton since January of 2023 but things could change on Friday. The Friendswood Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Angleton Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Friendswood is headed into the matchup having not lost since February 12 and will look to keep things rolling. They came out on top against Santa Fe by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Mustangs were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Angleton entered their tilt with Iowa Colony on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Pioneers. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

Angleton's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Friendswood, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
