Basketball Recap: Weeping Water Indians vs. Mead Raiders

After flying high against Palmyra on Friday, Weeping Water came back down to earth. The Weeping Water Indians came up short against the Mead Raiders on Saturday, falling 69-48. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-50 back in January.

Despite the loss, Weeping Water still got an impressive performance from Gus McGill, who went 6 for 12 en route to 18 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Nate Tejan, who posted five points along with six assists and four steals.
