Wayne skate past Logan with ease

Recap: Wayne Pioneers vs. Logan Wildcats

The Wayne Pioneers had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.2 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They breezed by Logan on the road to the tune of 55-14. The result was nothing new for Wayne, who have now won three matchups by 39 points or more so far this season.

Leading Wayne to victory were Jaxson Damron and Colton Mathis. Damron rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, while Mathis rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.

Wayne's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-9 Sissonville and 1-8 Logan (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 28.9% over those games). As for Logan, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 1-8.

Wayne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Logan also has no future games currently scheduled.
