Basketball Recap: Chalker Starts off Right with Win over Open Door Christian

Chalker had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 62-31 win over the Open Door Christian Patriots. The Wildcats pushed the score to 52-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots had little chance of recovering from.

Chalker had a senior duo take command as Abby Grimm posted 20 points and Tatum Hudak earned 15 points. Julia Ross was another key player, putting up eight points.

Looking ahead, Chalker will venture away from home to take on Badger at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Open Door Christian, they will be playing at home against Brooklyn at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
