Softball Recap: Calamus-Wheatland Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Calamus-Wheatland barely beat Starmont the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Stars on Monday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Stars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Calamus-Wheatland's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Starmont, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Calamus-Wheatland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-10 defeat against Edgewood-Colesburg on the 10th. Starmont has also already played their next contest (against Easton Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
